Indulge in the flavours of Greece with our Greek Lamb Sandwich, featuring succulent leftover leg of lamb and a rich Knorr Roast Meat Gravy. This sandwich is a fusion of textures and tastes, combining tender lamb, fresh vegetables and a flavourful gravy that brings a touch of Mediterranean delight to your meal. 
Ingredients
  • 10 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) crushed garlic
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 230 g (1 packet) Knorr Boloroni Mince Mate
  • 600 ml water
  • 38 g (1 packet) Knorr Classic White Sauce
  • 250 ml hot boiling water
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of mozzarella cheese
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil over medium or medium-high heat, add onion and sauté until slightly brown in colour, add garlic while stirring occasionally.

  2. Add mince and cook until brown in colour. Add a sachet of Knorr Boloroni Mince Mate seasoning spice blend, warm water, and uncooked pasta.

  3. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and allow to simmer uncovered on low to medium heat for 10 /15 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is al dente.

  4. Mix Knorr Classic White Sauce with boiling water, and set aside.

  5. Transfer half of the pasta to an oven-proof casserole dish then pour over white sauce sprinkle over half of the cheese.
