Indulge in the flavours of Greece with our Greek Lamb Sandwich, featuring succulent leftover leg of lamb and a rich Knorr Roast Meat Gravy. This sandwich is a fusion of textures and tastes, combining tender lamb, fresh vegetables and a flavourful gravy that brings a touch of Mediterranean delight to your meal. 
Ingredients
  • 1 French loaf
  • 10 ml (2 tbsp) butter, melted
  • 10 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) mint, finely chopped
  • 125 ml (½ cup) Knorr Garlic & Herb
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 500 g leftover leg of lamb
  • 250 ml (1 cup) lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 200 ml hot water
  • 34 g (1 pack) Knorr Roast Meat Gravy (dissolve in hot water)
  • 200 g Parmesan, shaved
Cooking Method
  1. Cut your loaf into 4 equal pieces and half lengthwise, almost all the way through, and open.

  2. Slather both sides with the butter and brown your bread on a heated pan, set aside.

  3. Heat oil over medium or medium-high heat, add onion, honey and sauté until slightly brown in colour, set aside.

  4. Drizzle the top and bottom of the bread with Knorr creamy yoghurt, place grated carrots, lettuce, pulled lamb, cucumber and drizzle the Knorr Roast Meat Gravy on top and serve.
