Prawn and Bacon Sweet Chilli Kebabs

Succulent prawns wrapped in crispy bacon and basted with a sweet chilli sauce 
Ingredients
  • 6 wooden skewers
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 100 ml Knorr creamy sweet chilli salad dressing
  • 30 ml fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 18 large prawns with tails intact, peeled and deveined
  • 9 rashers of bacon, cut halved crossways
Cooking Method
  1. Soak the skewers in water first to prevent them from burning while cooking

  2. In a bowl combine the garlic, Knorr Creamy Sweet Chilli Salad Dressing and coriander

  3. Add the prawns to the sauce and allow to marinade in the fridge for one hours

  4. Wrap each prawn in a piece of bacon then thread onto skewers – three prawns per skewer. Reserve the sweet chilli sauce for basting

  5. Braai over hot coals or under a grill for about 5 – 8 minutes or until the bacon is crispy on the outside and the prawns are pink on the inside. Baste continuously with the sauce while braaing
