Turkey Drumstick Sishebo 
Ingredients
  • 1.5 kg turkey drumstick slices
  • 250 ml McCains diced carrots
  • 250 ml McCains frozen green beans
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 410 g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 4 cups of water
  • 50 g packet of Knorr Cream of chicken soup
  • 15 ml Robertsons mixed herbs
Cooking Method
  1. Place drumsticks, carrots, beans, potatoes and onion in large saucepan. Mix tinned tomatoes, water and chicken soup powder together

  2. Pour over drumsticks and vegetables. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat and leave to simmer (covered) for about an hour and a half, stirring occasionally until the turkey is cooked and falling off the bone

  3. Add more water if needed

  4. Stir in mixed dried herbs

  5. Serve over pap or rice
